Hello inhabitants vary from hunter-gatherers, herders and farmers to an urban population with semi-skilled, skilled and highly skilled people consisting of traders, industrialists, civil servants and individuals in a wide diversity of professions. They belong to 13 different cultural groups.

The San (Bushmen) are most probably the oldest culture, still alive in the world. These hunters-gatherers roamed the plains of Southern Africa for thousands of years and are regarded as the earliest inhabitants in Namibia. The "Bushmen" are great story tellers, and love music, mimicry and dance. It is hoped that their songs and stories will survive as a record of their ancient culture..
